2. Double Deep Pallet Rack
Double Deep Pallet Rack:
Double deep pallet racking systems are still the cheapest high-density rack system all over the world and the reason is: our experience of more than 7 years in the racking industry. We’ve dealt with every kind of rack, and we mean it when we say there’s a rack for every purpose. Every business has different requirements and the choice of the racking system depends on the storage needs of that particular business. The double deep pallet racking system may not be suitable for everyone but it may be the ultimate storage solution for a few. The double deep rack is the only high-density pallet storage rack system that uses nothing less than low-cost standard selective pallet rack. The only variation is that it is set up 2 pallets deep, back to back. Thus an extremely dense 4 deep system is created, accessible from both sides, for only the cost of regular uprights and beams. Its density is similar to that of a drive-in rack, but at a lower price. What makes a double deep pallet racking system distinctive is that you place one row of the pallet rack behind the other granting you two pallets deep. Double deep pallet rack systems are your best option if you have a huge number of pallets with the same SKU!
Double deep pallet rack advantages:
[Super dense pallet storage
Lowest cost per pallet position of any rack system
Floor space increase by 60-65%
The forklift drive must reach over the first beam level to load and unload pallets off the second beam level
Very popular rack for high throughput operations
Optional pallet supports help to support the pallets and give forklift drive confidence when loading back pallets – which decreases the load and pick times
Requires use of a special 2-deep reach truck
Handling Equipment:
Forklift
Reach Truck
Staeker

★ Industries related to Garments and Textiles ★ Companies dealing with Food and Beverages ★ Pharmaceutical Sector ★ Tobacco Industry ★ Leather Sector ★ Chemical Industry
3. Push Back Pallet Rack
Push Back Pallet Rack:
Push Back Rack Systems are based on gravity-driven telescopic carts designed to provide maximum storage density. The first pallet placed at the front rests on the first cart, and then the second pallet b pushes the first one behind its back by one position, as the second pallet is loaded. This going on can be done for a maximum of up to six deep. The fork truck driver picks the pallet off and reverses slowly, and the next pallet comes pressing/forward position when he is removing the pallet. The first pallet gets removed during the unloading and subsequently, the rear pallets are automatically moved forward to the front picking position. This method of inventory management is categorized as LIFO (Last-In-First-Out). The carts are of low profile, which helps in the areas where height is restricted and they are all color-coded to make it convenient for the driver.
4. Drive In Rack
Drive-In Drive-Thru Pallet Rack System is one of the most modern and compact pallet racking systems which are very economical for creating high-density storage. Drive-In/Drive-Thru pallet racking systems have a specific design that must be taken into account before making a final decision if it is right for you. In a Drive-In/Drive-through system the pallets are placed between the rails which run the total length of the rack, and thus it is the driving in and out within the system that limits the depth of the Drive-in/Drive-through system.
This system has the following advantages:
Rack system for a high-density storage. The lift truck would easily have its way whenever you drive into the rack system. Most Economical high-density storage rack. There are so many configurations available, use the roll form or the structural materials. LIFO/FIFO (last in, first out/first in, first out) configurations Reduce space, cut cost, and hold more loads with its deep lane storage. High volume, low SKU. The elimination of the need for multiple aisles. Control of entry and exit. Promotion of density over the selectivity of the selective pallet rack. This system is designed specifically to suit your pallets and forklifts.
Limitations:
The depth of the system is restricted only by the available area and the number and size of the pallets. The height of the system is limited by the building height, maximum lift of the truck, and the size of the pallet. It is advisable to put a double column in front of the row to prevent accidents from the trucks. The use of high-quality wooden pallets is essential, the bottom boards should not be damaged, and the size should be uniform, so that they can be stored safely in the system. If pallets are of poor quality a slave pallet should be used for safety.
In Sector:
★ Clothing and Textile Industries ★ Food and Beverage Companies ★ Pharmaceutical Industry ★ Tobacco ★ Leather Industry ★ Chemical Industry
5. Pallet Flow Rack
Pallet Flow Systems are designed to be efficient and durable. 1 Stop Material Handling provides bespoke solutions for any situation from economical shallow depth or deep lane flow systems even in harsh environments. Master Engineering is aware that if SKU zones are well lauded, then storage for time-sensitive and consumer goods will be maximized. Empty storage space resulting from the loss of a broken stack or honeycombing must be considered in design. Height requirement cannot be avoided. It is determined by the necessary incline and this is more critical in big or deep bay systems.
Benefits:
High-Density Storage makes use of the space with less aisles. FIFO (First in First out) storage guarantees product rotation Pick aisle faces are always stocked Product moves from the back to the front Aisle space is only required at the initial point of the supply and discharge ends of the flow lanes.
Applying Sector:
★ Garment & Textile Industries ★ Food & Beverage Companies ★ Pharmaceutical Industry ★ Tobacco Industry ★ Leather Industry ★ Chemical Industry
6. Shuttle Pallet Rack
A Pallet Shuttle is a small storage system that consists of a motorized shuttle or cart powered by an electric motor that runs on rails across the channels and replaces the use of forklifts, thus greatly decreasing the time for operations and allowing the items to be placed in the channels as per the demand instead of entire lanes. The Pallet Rack Shuttle takes the orders from the operator by means of a tablet having a WiFi connection and places the load at the first free placement spot in the channel while at the same time compacting the pallets as much as they can be. Forklifts entering the lanes is a thing of the past and this brings about an increase in the storage capacity in terms of depth, the possibility of accidents and damage to the racks is virtually non-existent, movements of operators are streamlined, and warehouse operations get a makeover and are more flexible. A Radio Shuttle is perfect for companies that have a large volume of pallets per item and a lot of loading/unloading activity.
Pallet Mole highlighted benefits:
More Diversification: It is possible to use each channel for the storage of a different item.
High efficiency: There will be a higher flow of incoming and outgoing goods. More Storage: Depth of the storage area up to 131 feet. High cost performance, mainly due to the decline in operating costs. Reduction of incidents and maintenance cost.
Tablet command for many advanced functionalities.

7. Mobile Pallet Rack
The Movirack system transforms traditional shelving units into smaller more space-efficient and more productive units. All these advantages come without sacrificing direct access to any item in stock at all. The shelving units are placed on mobile bases that slide sidewards following a guided track, thereby creating no need for aisles which open only when accessed. The operator remotely or manually with a switch flicks the command to automatically unlock the unit. The mobile bases are equipped with motors, sliders, and multiple safety systems that ensure safe and efficient operation.

8. ASRS Pallet Rack
The automated storage retrieval system, known as ASRS or AS/RS for short, is the best system for the selection of boxes. The concept of the ASRS system is close to “product to man”. The automatic pick is the highest point on the scale of high-density, high-efficiency storage systems. A mini-load automated warehouse for boxes consists of a central aisle between two rows of racks. The stacker crane moves along the central aisle that is meant for the automatic picking of plastic totes, boxes, trays, or palletized goods. The area where picking and handling take place consists of conveyors and is located either at one end or alongside the racking. The extracted load is deposited by the automated storage retrieval system stacker crane.
Automated Storage Retrieval System Benefits Include:
∎ Automation of the entry and exit operations of your products.
∎ Savings in storage space.
∎ Elimination of errors arising from the manual management of the warehouse.
